Our tips for MTB sale
Maybe the MTB riding on rough trails isn't your thing after all, and you want to try a new cycling, or maybe it's time for your new favorite bike.MTB now sell. We give you tips on creating successful online ads, estimating the price, and uploading your MTB for sale right here at buycycle. You can easily upload your MTB for sale.
1.The price is hot: MTB Edition
To determine the current value of the MTB you are using, you can look at several factors. The first is the general condition of your bike. The younger and better conditioned it is, the more money you can sell it for.
So, scrutinize your MTB for cracks, dents, bends, and scratches. Check that all components, such as brakes, rear derailleur and chain, are intact and working and check the wheels and suspension. Consider this in your price estimate if you have independently replaced parts that have changed the original condition.
Another clue to the value of your used bike is its brand and components. High-quality components, e.g. from Shimano or SRAM, increase your selling price, and while big brands like Specialized, Trek, or Cannondale lose a little value over time, your No Name bike will have to forfeit some of its original price.
2. Perfect your advertisement
Before advertising your MTB on a sales platform, you should prepare it as best as possible. Polish the frame again, scrub the pedals and ensure it shines in your photos.
Now you can take on the role of an advertising photographer, light your bike well in front of a neutral background (avoid overexposure or strong shadows) and put it in the right light. - Alice Huot @ buycycle
Shoot it from the side, take detailed pictures of all components and possible defects and give the buyer the best possible picture of your bike. An accurate description and a reasonable fixed price round off your ad successfully.
